Become a Certified Nature Meditation Teacher
A professional certification for those who find their deepest peace–and their greatest purpose–in the natural world.
Enrollment open for the September 2026 cohort
You already know what it feels like to step outside and finally exhale.
Maybe you're a therapist, coach, yoga teacher, or meditation teacher–and nature is where you go to reconnect, to think clearly, to come back to yourself.
Or maybe you're not yet working in wellness, but you've always known that nature is where wisdom lives for you–and you've been quietly wondering if there's a way to build meaningful work around that.
Either way, you're looking for something that aligns: work that nourishes you as you offer it, that serves others, that connects people back to Earth at a time when that reconnection matters more than ever.
You don’t need a forest outside your door to do this work. Nature is always around and within us. Through metaphor, breath, and imagery, nature meditation can be taught anywhere.
This certification is the path to doing the work.

The Details
This flexible, accessible certification program incorporates both live, online sessions and on-demand learning. Wherever you're based, it's possible for you to join us. Here's how it works:
✦ Online materials and resources become available on September 1st, 2026. You can begin studying and practicing on that date, and our first live online session will be on Sat. September 12th.
✦ The bulk of your learning and practice will come from going through the online course material (text and audio-based) and practicing nature meditations in your own environment. You can bring any questions that arise to our live sessions together, or email them to me at any time during the course duration.
✦ Over the course of 4 months, we'll have 4 live Zoom calls, including 3 transformative masterclasses. Your attendance is required at 1 session minimum (details on Zoom call timing and intention can be found below).
✦ You'll have homework to complete within 1 month of our final call–due Feb. 10th, 2027. Upon successful completion, you'll receive your certificate as a symbol of your personal and professional growth.
Live Calls
Over 4 months, you'll have 4 opportunities to connect with the course teacher and other students live online. It's mandatory to attend a minimum of 1 of these sessions in order to receive your certificate (though we do hope you attend more!) This requirement is to maintain the human-to-human aspect of this work, while also recognizing that students join this program while working with a wide array of other commitments, schedules, and timezones.
Sessions will be recorded for those unable to attend each one live.

FAQs
What is the homework required for certification and how long will the course take to complete?
1
The homework requirement is that you complete a personal practice log of 20 personal nature meditations (not leading others), a course workbook that asks for your reflections related to the course lessons, attendance at 1 live session minimum, lead 3 nature meditations for friends, clients, or family (and complete corresponding self-assessment forms), and submission of an audio or video nature meditation you lead (up to 20 minutes in length). To complete this homework, as well as review all course content, approximately 30 hours of input is required. Homework is due February 10th, 2027.
Most of my audience is online, but I love nature! Is it possible for me to teach this work virtually?
2
Absolutely. Our philosophy is that we’re never, actually, separate from nature. While there is immense benefit of getting out and into more untouched natural landscapes, there are many nature meditations that can be led indoors and/or online. Our hope is that you get outdoors with your offerings when you can but to also share the power of nature reconnection wherever, however you can.
Is this program accredited?
3
Yes. This program has been assessed and accredited by the International Mindfulness and Meditation Alliance.
I’ve never taught or facilitated something like this before. Can I enroll for this?
4
Absolutely. All teachers and facilitators must start somewhere–and if you’re new to this type of work, we’d love for you to learn with us as your entry point into a meaningful, nature-inspired path of professional work. It’s equally suitable for those that do have experience teaching or facilitating but who want to learn new practices to share with their clients and who want to co-teach alongside the wisdom of nature.
