Teachings of the Water:
An Inner Nature Writing™ Workshop
Many of us are drawn to water, seeking it out when we need space to reflect, to breathe, or to reconnect with the world and ourselves. If we’re lucky to be in proximity of a vast or secluded body of water, we might let our feet carry us there. We might sit beside the endless ocean, a still lake, or a trickling stream to watch and listen.
Water is a teacher. Across cultures, it’s been associated with emotional depth, adaptability, purification, and flow. It moves around obstacles without force. It mirrors back what stands next to it. It keeps thing moving. It cleanses. It restores.
Quiet spots next to water are not always available to us in physical reality, but we can always discover them within. In this workshop, we’ll use the Inner Nature Writing™ method to meet water not as something outside of us but as alive within our inner landscape. Through guided imagery, mindful awareness, somatic embodiment, prompted writing, and sharing, you’ll unravel the wisdom that water is waiting to offer you, personally, at this moment in time.
You don’t need to be a writer, meditator, or have open water nearby to join this session. All you need is a willingness to explore your inner terrain – and a curiosity about what water might be trying to tell you.
DATE: Wednesday, June 24th, 2026
TIME: 8:30pm CEST/Stockholm (2:30pm ET/Toronto) – up to 75 minutes
LOCATION: Live on Zoom
INVESTMENT: $11
Please attend from a quiet and comfortable space for inner work, with a journal and pen.
The session will be recorded except for the sharing portion of the session. If you’re interested in the journey but can’t make it live, register and you’ll receive the recording (again, of everything except for the primary sharing period. This will support those in attendance to share openly and freely).
Disclaimer: This session is not therapy, counselling, or coaching, and should not be treated as a substitute for professional mental health support. The Inner Nature Writing™ method involves guided imagery, gentle self-inquiry, and reflective writing, which may bring emotions or memories to the surface. This workshop is intended for those who feel generally resourced and able to be present with whatever arises for them. It may not be suitable for those currently experiencing severe depression, psychosis, or any condition that makes it difficult to engage with emotional material from a grounded place. If you're unsure whether this is the right fit for you at this time, we encourage you to consult with your mental health provider before joining. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out at hello@theinnerforest.com.
